8 Questions You Should Always Ask About E-Juice Before Buying It

8 Questions You Should Always Ask About E-Juice Before Buying It

There are many different options and customizable subscription e-juice boxes available online, and you want to ensure you’re only getting the best of the best. So, whenever you’re buying new e-liquids, you should always have a set of questions prepared that’ll keep you informed and tell you more about the quality of the product you’re getting. Take a look at some of those questions.

1. Do You Make Your E-Juice In-Store?

As a general rule of thumb, you should buy e-juices from those stores that make their own. That way, you’ll always know which ingredients go into the e-liquid, and you’ll get the most affordable price.

If your local store is outsourcing their e-liquids, ask about their supplier and check their reputation. A quick Google search should tell you all you need to know.

You should always buy e-juices from reputable sources as you’ll want to avoid inhaling low-quality ingredients and risking your health.

2. Do Your E-Liquids Go through Third-Party Testing?

Third-party testing is crucial for virtually any product you’re buying. As these tests are unbiased, they assure you of the quality and the safety of your e-liquids.

If the shop is making its e-liquids in-store, it’s especially important to see whether third parties test them. It’s the only way to know that they’re generally safe for consumption and made of superior materials.

3. Do You Have ISO Certification?

If the e-liquid has ISO certification, you’ll know you’re getting the right product to improve your vaping experience.

ISO certification means that a specific product was made to the highest standard. It shows credibility and reliability, as only the best e-liquids will be able to receive this certification.

The certification can be received only through trustworthy, accredited organizations that thoroughly test products throughout the entire manufacturing process.

4. Does Your E-Liquid Have Diacetyl?

E-liquids are made of only a handful of ingredients. There’s nicotine, Propylene Glycol (PG), and/or Vegetable Glycerin (VG) as the base liquid and flavorings.

Flavorings can, at times, be concerning as some of them might contain diacetyl. Diacetyl is a chemical that has been associated with popcorn lung disease.

While e-liquid manufacturers have mostly removed diacetyl from their vape juices, some could contain this chemical. Ask your vendor whether their e-liquids have diacetyl, and if they do, avoid these liquids at all costs.

5. Which Flavors Do You Offer?

One of the main reasons why vapers start vaping is the amazing e-liquid flavor. You can vape virtually any flavor imaginable, menthol, grape, birthday cake, bubble gum, even crispy bacon. There are thousands of them.

Whether you’re new to vaping or have years of experience, you’ll want to try as many different flavors as you can – it’s all part of the vaping experience.

So, check which flavors your e-liquid store offers, and try a few different ones. The more variety of flavors the store has, the more fun you can have.

6. Can I Order E-Juices Online?

There are only two recurrent investments you’ll need to make as a vaper – you’ll need to keep buying vape juices and vape coils. Depending on how much you vape, you might be needing to visit a vape shop every other day.

To make it more convenient for yourself, you should check whether your favorite store sells its products online. It’ll be easier to purchase e-liquids online, and you might even be able to get subscription e-liquid boxes.

7. How Long Do I Have to Wait for Delivery?

Of course, if the store offers online orders, you’ll need to know how long you’ll have to wait to receive your vape juices. Typically, you can expect your e-liquids to arrive within a few days, but it all depends on the store.

8. Do You Have Sub-Ohm E-Liquids?

If you’re interested in sub-ohming, you need to get the right products. Not every vaping device is intended for sub-ohming, and neither is every liquid.

Sub-ohm liquids need to contain at least 70% Vegetable Glycerin. VG is a thick, viscous liquid that can handle higher temperatures well and provide lots of vapor. Don’t try sub-ohming with a higher PG e-liquid as it’s more likely to burn and deliver dry hits.

The Bottom Line

These are just some of the essential questions you’ll need to ask when buying your e-juice. It’s always a good idea to be informed about the products you’re consuming, so don’t be afraid to ask any question that pops to mind. The more you know about your vaping products, the more you’ll enjoy your vaping experience.
